I am an Ontario Certified Teacher and a graduate of Western University, where I earned my Bachelor of Education. Before this, I completed a Bachelor of Arts with a major in French for Teaching, building a strong foundation in French-language instruction and effective pedagogy. My academic background, along with my commitment to inclusive and engaging learning environments, has prepared me to support students across a variety of learning needs and educational settings. 

Having grown up in rural Oxford County, agriculture has always been an integral part of my life. Time spent on my grandparents’ and my aunt and uncle’s farms provided me with firsthand experiences that shaped my understanding of agriculture and the journey food takes from farm to table. These experiences, from spending time in the fields with my family to gaining an understanding of how dairy cows are milked, have provided me with a practical, firsthand perspective on agriculture that many people do not have the opportunity to gain. 

AgScape gives me the opportunity to blend many different aspects of my life together such as my passion for education and teaching the French language, as well as my deep connection to agriculture and the agri-food sector. Allowing me to help bring French food and agriculture lessons and resources into classrooms across the province.
