AgScape 2026 Annual General Meeting

Save the Date: AgScape 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) is happening on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at The Arboretum, University of Guelph. This event will feature interactive youth activity demonstrations, insightful presentations, and valuable networking opportunities.

Growing into Tomorrow: Earth Day Challenge

April 22, 2026, is Earth Day, an annual global event dedicated to environmental protection and promoting sustainability. It offers an excellent opportunity to understand how agriculture and food production impact the environment and how farmers are implementing sustainable practices. Celebrate Earth Day in your classroom by participating in our Growing into Tomorrow: Earth Day Challenge! Open to grades 3-8, this challenge encourages students to discover the importance of soil and its role in growing healthy food through an interactive lesson plan and activity included in our new Soil Sustainability: Canada as a Potato Activity.

Land Acknowledgement

We respectfully acknowledge that we were founded on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinabewaki, Attiwonderonk, Mississauga and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. Today, this area is home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.

We have many representatives working across the land now called Ontario, and we acknowledge that there are 46 treaties and other agreements that cover the territory. We are thankful to be able to work and live in these territories. We extend our gratitude to the First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples who have cared for these territories since time immemorial and continue contributing to the strength of Ontario and communities across the province.
