
Virtual Food & Farm Field Trip: Maple Syrup Production
Join us on Wednesday, April 23 at 1:30 p.m. for a free Virtual Field Trip, where your grades K-8 students will explore the fascinating world of flour milling with Peter Worfolk, Quality Manager at Ardent Mills in Mississauga, Ontario.
From the comfort of your classroom, you and your class will:
- Discover how wheat is transformed into the flour that makes the food we enjoy every day.
- Gain insight into how wheat is cleaned, ground, and processed into various types of flour.
- Engage in live discussions and ask questions in real-time.
Additionally, all registrants will receive a digital activity kit containing engaging educational materials to enhance the Virtual Field Trip experience.
