Virtual Food & Farm Field Trip: Flower Greenhouse
Join us on Wednesday, December 17, at 10:00 a.m. for a free Virtual Food & Farm Field Trip, where your grades 2-9 students will tour Aldershot Greenhouses, a greenhouse specializing in growing flowers and plants year-round in Burlington, Ontario
From the comfort of your classroom, your class will:
- Meet Ed Vermolen and explore the greenhouse’s impressive automated facility.
- Discover how technology and plant science create thousands of healthy plants year-round.
- Learn how the plants are grown and cared for during the winter.
- Participate in live discussions and ask questions in real time.
Additionally, all registrants will receive a digital activity kit containing engaging educational materials to enhance the Virtual Food & Farm Field Trip experience.
