Virtual Food & Farm Field Trip: Farming in the City

Join us on Thursday, June 5 at 10:00 a.m. for a free Virtual Field Trip, where your grades K-12 students will tour Zawadi Farm, a sustainable urban farm located in the heart of Toronto.

From the comfort of your classroom, you and your class will:

  • Explore how food is grown in the city
  • Discover how urban agriculture connects communities, supports sustainability, and brings fresh produce to local markets.
  • Engage in live discussions and ask questions in real-time.

Additionally, all registrants will receive a digital activity kit containing engaging educational materials to enhance the Virtual Food & Farm Field Trip experience.

This event will be delivered in partnership with Farm and Food Care Ontario and streamed to AgScape and Farm and Food Care Ontario’s Facebook and YouTube channels. After registration, we will provide you with a detailed reminder on when and how to take part. Land Acknowledgement
