AgScape's Teacher Recognition Award

Each year AgScape®, in partnership with Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show, recognizes an Ontario teacher for their efforts and achievements in teaching students the importance of agriculture.

Who is eligible?

Certified Ontario teachers integrating agricultural concepts into curriculum and who support agriculture education in their classroom. Teachers for grades 7-12 are eligible and may be self-nominated or peer nominated.

What will the winner receive?

The winner will receive a $500 cash award and a certificate recognizing their contribution to agriculture in the classroom.

AgScape's Agriculture Education Champion Award

AgScape’s Agriculture Education Champion Award is created in partnership with Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show and recognizes agri-food businesses, individuals and organizations that are stepping forward to demonstrate leadership and provide positive contributions in support of agriculture education in Ontario. 

2019 marks the inaugural year of the award. This year's award recipient was selected by AgScape's Board of Directors and staff. 

Who is eligible?

Individuals, businesses and organizations within the agriculture and food sector in Ontario. Candidates for the Agriculture Education Champion Award are nominated by peers within the agriculture and education sector and the winner is selected by a committee represented by AgScape staff and Board Members.

What will the winner receive?

The winner will receive a plaque recognizing their contribution to supporting agriculture education in Ontario.
